Most Dubai developers offer 40/60, 50/50, or 60/40 payment plans. Typically 10–20% is required to reserve, with the remainder split across construction milestones and the balance on handover. No bank mortgage is required for off-plan payment plans.
Typical total transaction costs are 5–6%: a 4% DLD registration fee, approximately AED 4,000 in admin charges, and conveyancing costs. There is no annual property tax, no capital gains tax, and no inheritance tax in the UAE.
